Ingredients
For base
Maida – 2 cups
Wheat flour – 1 cup
Baking soda – 1 teaspoon
Baking powder – 1 tablespoon
Curd – 2 tablespoon
Water/milk – as required
For Sauce
Onion (chopped) – 1 medium
Tomato – 3 no.
Garlic – 6/7 cloves
Butter – 2 tablespoon
Salt n pepper – as required
Tomato ketchup – 3 tablespoon
Soy sauce – 1 teaspoon
Oregano – 1 tablespoon
For filling
Chicken – 250 grams
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tablespoon
Salt pepper – as required
Onion (diced) – 1 big
Capsicum (diced) – 1 no.
Cheese – as required
Method
– Mix all the dry ingredients thoroughly. Then add all the wet ingredients and knead well for about 7 – 10 mins. Once done cover it and keep it aside to rest.
– For sauce, take a saucepan add butter, let ie melt. Then add onions and sautee for 5 mins.
– Puree the tomatoes and garlic together and add to the onion. Add soy sauce, salt, and pepper and cook for 5 mins. Then add ketchup and oregano and cook for another 5 mins. Your sauce is ready.
– Marinate the chicken with ginger garlic paste, salt and pepper for atleast 30 mins. After the cut in small cubes and shallow fry it. Remove it and keep aside for later.
– Now take the dough cut into portions and roll out. Apply sauce put the cooked chicken, cheese, diced onions, and diced capsicum and fold and seal it well.
– Deep fry the the pockets. Voilà your chicken pizza pocket is ready!
